Wow, those steps and wall are a great backdrop. I believe I will echo, sort of, what someone else said about model placement. I think if you are going to show her where she is (centered) then perhaps she should be in motion? The casual look she has would work with that, especially if she was not looking at the camera. Alternatively, she could be on the right side, perhaps sitting, in a kind of opposition to the wall. Very attractive model, and a great setting. I recommend experimenting with this some more (not that I'm a photographer or anything).

Yes, I agree with you. The placement isnt ideal, we wanted to achieve a little aggressive/creepy look, but well, it didnt turn out as I wanted it to be.

I like this shot very much, David; her simplicity next to such a vibrant and busy wall is a good contrast. The fact that she is in the very center is a bit too bland. I think it would look even better if she was one step lower and more to the left, close to the bottom left corner. That way we still see her fully, she is still contrasting the wall, but you also get a more elongated perspective of the stairs. Really well done!
I would also love to see a little bit more of the wall; it would be really cool to see her and her simple black dress standing in front of the wall, her back to it. That way it's like that concept of the little black spot on a paper. Just curious... Fantastic work, yet again

I have to agree with every aspect you mention. Im not really satisfied with the result. Its too blurry cause I had no affective way to illuminate the scene. the inbuilt flash would have made an too bright photo. Still in learning how to make good photos of people

I actually like the fact that it's a bit blurry, to me, it adds a little something extra to the shot. I like it.
Yeah, I agree; photographing people and trying to create/evoke some sort of feeling in the viewer without using over-dramatic facial expressions are always a challenge. I'm not good at photographing portraits, but if you're able to get such a good shot while still learning, then your final results will be amazing.
Can't wait to see the results of your new flash.

Die Unschärfe passt hier zwar irgendwie dazu, aber etwas schärfer wäre es auch nett gewesen.
Ansonsten aber ein wirklich stimmiges Foto.

Mich frustets halt, am Kamera display sieht alles gut aus und wenn mans dann in voller größe am Computer sieht, merkt man alle kleinen Fehler.

like it, the compostion is good, did you shot that on film?
like the colors somehow but she seems a little bit oof and blurry, especially in the face, also maybe she should have moved her shoulders a little bit back, would have made another impression in my opinion

Ja, du hast vollkommen recht, leider ist bei diesem fotoshoot eine generelle unschärfe. Hab da leider zu schlecht ausgeleuchtet, aber versucht das beste drauß zu machen. Und ja da könntest du auch recht haben^^ Ich habs mit Menschen fotografie noch nicht so drauf, bin noch am herum experimentieren.

Generelle Unschärfe wegen Fokus oder weilst verwackelt hast? oder liegts am Objektiv? weiß net ob es mit der Ausleuchtung zu tun hat, wie hast es beleuchtet?
Ich denk es ist besser was zu tun und dabei etwas zu lernen als nur herumzusitzen, einfach weitermachen, ich denke das du am richtigen Weg bist!
Klar gerne, ist eh selten in Foren bzw Fotocommunities das man es mit normalen Menschen zu tun hat
