And I think when he stopped the Krakken (in the episode with the same name) from killing the one who stole her eggs, it was like this. Ripjaws (to the Krakken, telepathically perhaps): Please don't hurt him. He may be a jerk, but you're not really a monster. I'll take care of him while you take care of your eggs.

I really don't like how he looks in the newer shows.

Also because the new ones are mostly to much metal and steel material
related that just dont make sense with Bens organic alien transformations

I know! But did you here about Omniverse? OMG the art work and animation is just TERIBBLE THEY RUINED A GREAT SHOW!!!!! The aliens are terible even my old fav's look terible!!! I am so disapointed You know I just want the original Ben 10 and thats it!! you know were there still kids going around the US with there grandpa, man I miss that show so much!

I certainly think they could have explored the origin of those aliens a lot more - maybe they'll be doing that in the feature film coming soon.

If they did that, and Ben just kept sticking with the same ten while he grew up, I think the show would be a lot better. All these additional aliens (except Humungosaur) just give me a headache.

I actually quite like Canonbolt - he was designed by Dave Johnson who did 9 of the 10 originals. He did Wildvine too.
Once I get through the villains, Canonbolt will be my first alien that I'll do.

I understand. I guess fans do like some of the new aliens too. I just think the number has gotten a tad excessive. I know there were two episodes where he lost a few of the new ones.

I have an 8 year son and at his age, the more aliens the better. But I tend to look at them as design work. Some are successful, some are not. I do believe they are running a bit of the George Lucas style toy production method. The more aliens, the more toys, the more $$$.

I don't like the aliens in the original series...at all. I didn't even like Ben, to be honest.
That having been said, the artistry in this is such, that not only am I favoriting it...
I will favorite every alien transformation in your collection.

Thanks for the nice comment and all the faves. I actually liked the designs of the aliens in the first series - the stories were sometimes bleh. I'm planning on working through the aliens from the original series to ultimates. I also might try to tackle the villains too.

The writing was terrible! I wanted to kill ten-year-old Ben! I only watched like five episodes of the original show before Alien Force came out. Then I had to watch all of them on Boom when I started reading fics to try and figure out why everyone had Kevin pegged as a monster.
Yep! Eleven-year-old Kevin was a monster! Best thing in that first series, too... hands down!
I vote you do Kevin 11,000 before you get started on the AF and UA aliens.

I'm not sure if I'll go onto villains of the kids series first or the Aliens of Force or Ultimate. There are some episodes I really enjoyed of young Ben - the episode that introduces Cannonbolt, the episode that has Zombozo and the Camp Fear episode was quite good too. Obviously it targets a younger market.

Truth be told, anything you choose to do will be beautiful. The Camp fear set will look totally psychedelic!
However, Zambozo freaks the heck out of me... so I will definitely not be favoriting that one!

What really makes this feel successful to me, in terms of capturing theme and character: I have never seen this character before, and have only seen one episode of Ben 10 (the first one). Yet I was positive at a glance that this was a Ben 10 image.
