I always wondered what happened to the dwarves in Tamriel. did they go extinct? did the Aldmeri Dominion kill them all in a genocide that we all might not know of? did they just get transported somewhere else by some magical force? what do you all elder Scroll fans think?

There's a canon explanation in TES V: Skyrim. It's not *fully* explained, but we are outright told that (spoilers spoilers spoilers, spoilers spoilers, spoilers spoilers spoilers. Spoilers.) On another note, Davin, awesome work. Mustache makes me wonder, but all in all it's a beautiful piece and a wonderful depiction of this mysterious race.

I feel in love with this piece straight away. It really captures the reason why I really love the dwemer. Created to sort of slip into the stereotype of fantasy dwarves, but are instead elves that look much like sumerian gods and have a callousness that shames all the other mer on Tamriel. Great work! (I'll keep obsessing about that orb and what it is/can do for days.)
