You know we've got the Grey over here, and they brought with them a disease that's decimated our indigenous Red Squirrel population.

I believe the reds you talk about, are in fact, the same species, but with a colour morph.

Yea.. ours are especially plump this year because there has been no snow..so they continue eating

Makes sense. They're rodents so they just keep on eating. (Sometimes I think I'm part rodent!)
