Description Because of the positive response to one of my first steampunk modified guns (The Gentleman's Pistol), I decided to revisit the idea and create another Nerf gun similar to the original.

Sold on Etsy.

That would be a revolver, not a pistol ... still beautiful!

This has to have been one of the best nerf guns made. I modified mine and love it even more. This paint job makes me love it even more.

I like the name, "Gentleman's pistol." It sounds like a weapon that a civilian would use.
Very nice work here!

If I sent you my Recon CS-6, could you paint it up like this?

I could probably do that. I'm going to be pretty busy for the next three weeks getting some guns ready for an art show I've got in September, so I won't be able to get to it until the 12th at the earliest. If that's alright with you, I'll send you a Note with the address to send the Recon and an estimate on what it would cost for me to do the customization.

My only thing is, can I trust you?

If it would make you feel better, I have a shop on Etsy that we could do the custom order through. That way there's a third party to make sure both of us are honest.

Thank you sir. It really would. By the way, what's Etsy?

Etsy is an online marketplace for handmade and custom items. Awhile back, I set up a store on there to sell some of my steampunk and dieselpunk guns that I've created.

If we go through them, you'll want to set up what is called an Alchemy Request. Here's the link to the request page on my Etsy store: [link]
There's a link from there to request a custom item and also a link to the Alchemy Overview that describes the whole process better than I ever could. To submit the request, you'll need to sign up first (all they need is a valid e-mail address).

Feel free to let me know if you have any questions.

The Russian Roulette mod is where you modify the Nerf Maverick so that the ammo cylinder can flip out all the way.
