I don't know if she's right for the role, just because Psylocke is British.

Well she is british but in the 90's her body was switched with that of a japanese ninja named Kwannon. So now (as far as I know, it may have changed back) she has the body of an asian woman but the mind of Elizabeth Braddock, a british woman.

I actually for long time really liked angelina jolie for psylocke before she got really big. I kind of have a story in mind for an x-men reboot so that is what i based my x-men fancasts around and it doesn't involve pre asian psylocke, so i never really thought about it, but I might have to now...
