Clarisse had thought it was a prank when the courier letter arrived. In short, a distant relative completely unfamiliar to her had died, and left a will and trust for which she was the only qualifying inheritor. Upon speaking with the lawyer, she found it was no prank, and quite real, with over a billion USD invested. The terms, though, were exacting and strict. Clarisse had to completely alter her entire life, and self, if she wished to comply. The inheritor must maintain a complete and ostentatious diva persona at all times. She must be or become blonde, as 'big' as possible, with extensions or wigs if necessary. She must wear the largest, softest furs in public at all times. If she did all these things, she was wealthy beyond her dreams, for life. If she ever did not comply, she was cut off, for life.

Clarisse did it. Anyone would, she figured. Disembarking her private jet, she tossed her blonde locks out over her heavy fur coat. This was her life now.
