But Daaaad, learning to be a wolf is boorrriiing, *pounce* cant we just stay here and play! pweeasse *growl, growl, growl, pounce* playing is so much fun!this picture took me soooo long to do
been working on it all day and I still dont like it, the puppies dont quite look like puppies:/ I dont draw puppies tht much so:/on a better note I love nightwalks tail (adult wolf) its come out almost phto perfect ( i think so ) ^^ it looks so fluffy I used a combination of the burn tool and the smeary tool to try and get the fur to look furry rather then splodges of colour.
going to go back to drawing Davu next me thinks^^ unless I get side tracked by something else^^

(I'm sorry it took long to get the comments out, but I started school again! So thats less time to critique! But I will not give you or any one else a lesser of comment value.)
The most eye catching thing of this picture are the cubs. They are so cute and fluffy. Its noticable through the hair and how it runs. The blending of color and texture really gives the feel of "soft" or "newborn". Its very well composed. Good decisions were made in how to blend the fur. I also like how each pup has its own actual personality. The rolling pup to the smiling pup and the shy, resolved pup. I especially like the rolling pups head twisted away from the body. It really shows motion which is always good. The adult is well lined. Good gesture, he looks back and keeps his pose stagnant. Thats what most canines do when they move to observe, so I think you captured that nicely. I also thing the continuity of the environment serves the overall feel very well. The snow compliments the fur and gives the general feel of "soft" In the end, the main theme could be "softness" or "gentleness". The father looks back at the pups who are relatively small in age and need care. Its a very warm and cozy pic.
Just for some improvement (just my suggestions), though the animals are placed in a background the believable aspect is missing. Its a good background but the wolves aren't in snow as the background would suggest. Maybe to get that achievement, you could add snow to some of the cubs fur. Some speck of snow that accumilated from walking or sitting. The lack of varience in shadow makes the cubs and adult flot aboce. Unless they are sitting on ice, then the background was well chosen, if it was meant to be a forest clearing, then just some more minor details will really make it feel COLD and fluffy in snow. The leaves and even bark could use snow just to seperate the figures from the backdrop, some dimensionality.
In the end, its a REALLY cute pic with warm intent. Good details in fur.

This is very impressive. You surely captured the emotional feelings related to fatherhood, etc. The baby wolves look excited.
The outline of the wolves looks a bit rough and probably needs some clean up. Since you drew in the shadows for the trees, you might as well do the shadows of the dogs on the snow.

actually for how old you are your drawing is spot on, i couldnt draw before i was 16 and thats the truth, esp horses, but my tutor encouraged me alot, and i just practised and practiced

i think you did a very good job with the wolves. as for the background i don't like it much, maybe before the wolves are so 3d. also you should add shadows. keep up the good work

the background is actually 3d as well I knocked it back as it blended too much with the wolves and was too distracting, but alot of people have commented the same thing as you so i might put it back to how it originally was

everything looks really great only one catch, i thought the trees could've been darker and maybe show a bit more color, but otherwise i like the trees and shadow works great too. the playfulness of the pups is cool. well done!
