beaut, we call them swallowtails in the U.K., our biggest butterfly. i'm lucky enough to live next to the national conservation centre for swallwtails in Hickling (on the Norfolk Broads)

Thanks for the comment. I added the english name... It is the biggest butterfly in Germany too. Sadly becoming rare. But here close to the Alps they still find refuges... Is the NCC a building or a nature reserve? Oh. You remind me that I wanted to visit the tropical butterfly exhibition in the botanical garden in Munich.

i live between the NNT (Norfolk Nature Trust) reserve at Hickling (Norfolk Broads) and the swallowtail reserve at Catfield Fen (which is also supposed to have more pairs of bittern than the rest of the U.K. totalled up, not sure though) - no buildings, just fens and reedland. i can walk to them both which is very lucky
