Red Hood should've been part of Joker's origins in the DCAU and the 1989 movie.

I've always liked the Jason Todd Red Hood more...but I always found Joker's a little impractical Β

I recently discovered in the comics area of the DCAU that their Red Hood was Phantasm's Mom.

According to the original comic that linked Red Hood to the Joker, the red steelΒ helmet has Red-tinted Two-way mirrors built in making it look featureless.
To defeat him they lit up the area in red-tinted lights, causing his red lenses to see nothing but an indistinguishable field of red.

You ever seen those glass shower doors that are all warped and blurred on the outside but perfectly transparent on the inside? Same principle. Though I suspect Red Hood's helmetΒ made of a special bullet-proof variant.

Did you know that the Red Hood character in Batman The Brave And The Bold is a 'Composite Character'?

No. I read only some of Brave and the Bold comics (1955-1983).

In the very first origin Joker was criminal master aka. Red Hood. Accident with chemicals changed his personality. He could be the victim of Red Hood gang like it's shown in "The Killing Joke" but there is also possiblity that he's a liar like Joker in TDK trilogy. Joker's origin is really mysterious and this makes him special.Β Β

Villains like Joker or Zsasz are often isolated from other inmates. Not many could survive night with them in the same cell. I think every person in Arkham feels respect and fear in front of the Joker. Hamill is one of the best Joker ever. Even if it's only his voice!Β

You know, I always wondered how whoever wore the old costume could see through that helmet.

True.
But I'd like to see more action from this guy, cause so far only TBatB did him any justice.
I'm not a fan of Jason's helmet though, too many similarities with Deadpool.
Thanks for the pic!
