Second-last (I think) batch of my series of NG cutie mark representations! Again, the proportions are totally random as this was initially meant to be a sketch but then evolved into a fully colored thing - so no, Morning Star is not twice as big as Strawberry (kinda the contrary, actually) and same goes for all the others.

Laurel Crown is an honest and fair young stallion. He's terrible at lying and would move mountains for his friends: he's a bit naive and trusts others a bit too easily, but he's kind-hearted and loyal. His talent is calming tense situations, acting as a sort of balancing force. He plays as a good arbitrator and referee when needed, and is thinking of studying Law to become a judge or lawyer. His handicapped left wing represents no problem at all for him, though he's quite self conscious about it sometimes. He's very intelligent and cultured as well, but doesn't enjoy taking part in big conversations, preferring talking to his closest friends only. He spends a lot of time with Evening Tune, studying with her, helping her learn new spells or practice known ones (sometimes at his expense).

Darynn works as an actress in a small company from Canterlot. Theatre has been her vocation since she was a filly and she's exceptionally good at playing almost any role. Despite her great skills, and despite what many believe, she's hopeless at faking feelings when she's not on stage. She used to be Morning Star's girlfriend, but they broke up rather badly after a decisive visit to the Crystal Empire, where Darynn fell in love with Diamond Blade. She's quite the charmer and very enjoyable to talk to, but perhaps not the sharpest tool in the chest.

Evening Tune aims to become a scholar specialized in archaeology and Ponycian history (haha, got it?) and she's one of the few ponies to have ever been able to perform their ancient spells (and the only one currently alive). Rather thank working on her own, she actually prefers collaborations with other researchers, with her mother and Discord being at the top of her study-partners' list when she has to deal with particularly complicated subjects.

Morning Star, Eve's twin brother, has got different interests and prefers physical activities to intellectual pastimes (though he won't decline a chess match with his sister). Despite Twilight's greatest worry (and similarly to his cousin Diamond Blade), he's been practicing archery since he was quite young. Differently from his cousin, he can only use that weapon and not really anything else, but he's very good at it: quick, alert, resistant and strong. He is quite passionate about this and often lets his hot temper take control, getting angry for nothing and putting a bit too much emphasis in his training. This once resulted in him having a few of his pinions ripped on the tips: he wasn't focusing on anything but his nervous rage, and got in the way of the arrow of another cadet. The damage was permanent, but luckily only aesthetic and it didn't affect his flying skills.

Strawberry Ice Cream found her talent thanks to one of her mother's best friends, Fluttershy: while the Pegasus was babysitting her, she discovered her natural propensity towards little animals, from squirrels to lizards and jays. Once older, she started enjoying the company of more dangerous ones as well and even adopted an albino snake found in the Everfree Forest. Amadeus, smaller than the average of his species but venomous anyway, scares the living daylights out of Strawberry's sister, Lemon Meringue, but he's actually a sweetheart (or so the red-maned pony describes him). Currently, Strawberry works in Ponyville's local kennel and helps rescue stray dogs and cats, as well as birds and other critters.

Lemon Meringue got her cutie mark quite late compared to most ponies: she realized her purpose during a holiday in Haywaii, helping a friend of her father in a bar on the beach and serving drinks of any type. Despite her young age, she now owns it partially and shares a flat with two friends. She visits her family in Ponyville every once in a while and whenever she gets a week of vacation, or possibly longer, she likes hanging out with Celestia's daughters, especially Hibiscus Petal. Spending time in the castle also gave her the chance to become close friends with Heavenly Aster, having a few runs in the fields with him and eventually bonding in a rather strong way.
