Hi Sarah, received both the drawings today, used this one as a Christmas card to my wife, she loved it. Having the other framed, it's stunning ( Love the Snow Flake effect ). Thankyou very much.
You've gotta stick at the pastels, you can build up great detailed drawings with depth. All the drawings I have are nowhere near as detailed as your Robins. Try to make sure you start simple, go for a 9" X 6" drawing of cats eyes first, such as "Cocoa". The pastels should arrive Saturday.

Eee, what a sweet little birdie. BD And lovin' those textures, especially those subtle little swirls on the wood, there's something very nice about those. O:

But aren't robins a sign of spring? XD Ha, no, I'm just messin', that'd look great on a Christmas card or something! BD

Great piece of work, love the background it really gives the soft out of focus effect without detracting from the subject.
