ok so i broke down, I'v been despertly tring to keep myself from posting anything on the pages i've been working on the past few weeks. I wanted to stock up so i could post them all together so there wouldn't be too much complants that i was doing a small revamp of the beginning on LotN. But when i finished this pannel i just fell in love with it and had to share.So enjoy, you all get a first look at one of the finished products of the new pages. =]

Beautiful work. The posing is quite great and not to mention the background. Simply gorgeous.
As far as critique, might I suggest adding a bit more shadow under the one in the front - Huntingtalon? It appears as if he is floating above the ground. Perhaps simply some more defined casts beneath him, particularly his paws. That way it'll look more prominent.
As well, perhaps some darker shading on the wolves themselves? Maybe some little shadows of the leaves above them cast down on their fur as it appears they're in a heavily wooded area. Umm... I sure you know what I mean, but this as an example just to be sure [link]
Pah! Enough of my crits! Beautiful panel. I'm sure the final product will be gorgeous.

Love that tired expression on his face, yawning and stretching. I really like this piece mainly because of the colors, but also how the wolves aren't too more detailed than the background. It gives it a slightly more realistic effect.

If there want critique, though, I think his tail may be a little too short, but that's just my opinion~ other than that it looks great *huggles bloodmarrow* HE'S SO CUTE.

yes all the time, for both the backgrounds and the characters. in this picture i used [link] as a ref for bloodmarrow's pose and then [link] as a ref for the background
