My real honey bees are cute!!
It fun to pet them long as they are the ones away from the hive!! Seriously!! Honey bees don't want to sting you! If you can find a male honey bee you can pick them up in your hand(no stinger) and shake a bit -- don't want to hurt him-- they really buzzzzz!! LOL!!

Haha, I know. My friends in high school used to call me the "Bee Whisperer". I was always the one that would carefully prompt them onto my finger and then over to the landscaping if they landed on anyone. ^_^ If you move slowly and don't scare them, they're harmless enough.

I didn't know only females had stingers. Learn something new every day!

Well I haven't been stung by any of the honey bees...
My hubby gets stings all the time and use to it for the most part. My son got his first sting a couple years ago- but we didn't know it was a sting until I found the bee buzzing around. He never saw it and I guess it was tickling his hand when he was walking around -- and he kept on bugging the bee. He didn't get too much poison and didn't get the stinger right in.

Male bees called drones have something a bit more important!! LMAO!! I'm sure you can figure that one out!!

Thanks but bumble bees don't make honey you can eat
But I do have the honey bees in my back yard that makes the real stuff!!
