Yay! Yesterday I've read the Last chapter of FMA and it was too awesome. And I'm so glad regained his vision.
[edit] ok you've won!I've just got thrilled after reading the manga. Roy didn't became a fuhrer, But I know He will be a fuhrer someday

but why in the anime mustang will be a "fuhrer", I know that it means just leader, but everybody know that Führer was the name granted by Hitler to himself, harakawa is a nazist?!

Since at the last page must be like 3-5 years later
since Ed and Winry already have kids
so maybe he did become the Fuhrer after 3-5 years ^^

No... Grumman is Fuhrer.
Mustang is only Brig General.
It says so when "Radio Capital" is giving an overview.
He's working on the Ishvalan Peace treaties and such.

Shortly after the promised day, He's promoted to Brigadier General. Grumman is Fuhrer (he outranks both Roy and Olivier anyway).
2 years later he's since been promoted to General IIRC.
Final pic, he's either Fuhrer or still a General. Some say one it's a button and 3 stars, but the button is suppossed to be much larger then the stars. Yet the last pic has whatever is closest to Mustang's neck the same size as the stars.
Take that as you will. Think Arakawa may have just made a drawing mistake in whatever she was tryig to show what happened with Roy years after the 2 years after the Promised Day.

I reckon he's not Fuhrer, I'd say General.
It's probably just the angle that the "shot" is at, if you get what I mean.
That and His uniform isn't the Fuhrer's, if you notice he isn't wearing the sash of office, or the hat, or medals, or anythign that Grumman or Bradley wore.
Personally, I'd say that Arakawa just made a mistake in the scale.
But I understand what you mean. :3

For me, it's just that the button shouldn't be identical in size to those stars.
As for the sash, hat, medals.
-The angle of the pic makes it so we wouldn't be able to see the sash anyway. It may be there.
-Bradley didn't always wear his hat. Actually he rarely wore it.
-As for the medals, who's to say one of those is given for getting the position? Yeah I know, this one is weak, but eh. Maybe their military protocol is more lax with medals...
The one thing that is certain is that 4 stars is Fuhrer. And Mustang may or may not have that in his last pic depending on which mistake Arakawa made.

I agree on the button thing, because the boutton is what holds his eppliette (Spelling thar) down to his shirt.
And I agree whole heatedly about your stars, 3 of them is for General or Colonel, depending on the base colour (Blue for Colonel, Yellow for General).
I must admit, you provide an excellent argument over this. (Thats meant to be a positive..)
From the position, there's a chance that you could see the sash, because It'd loop over his shoulder or side, so you'd see it on that shoulder or side depending which way around its worn.
As for the hat, you have a very fair point, I can't argue. :3
And the Medals, Bradley ore them and Grumman wore them. I'm assuming that they're for being Fuhrer; of course I could be wrong.
I still stick by him not getting the position, Arakawa would have brought more to it in my opinion
Of course, she may have done this which would lead fans to then dicded what happened.
