This is me as Bellemere, my oldest daughter as Nojiko, and my youngest daughter as a young Nami from One Piece. Anytime I've ever tried to tell anyone about this story arc I basically tear up just thinking about it *sniff sniff*

It's been on my to do list for years but I had put it off because I had always planned on using my own hair, since I had no idea how I'd do it with a wig, and was waiting for a time my job or lack there of would allow me the opportunity.

However, upon seeing wigs approximately the color of her side hair I started to think maybe I could make my own wig if I could find a good one to start with. I ended up getting a lightning wig from FF, saving the bunches of hair I cut from the sides, and sewing them into extensions that I could use to fill in where needed, then I dyed the parts I needed to using acrylic ink. Usually this method works extraordinary for me, but naturally since this wig wasn't a big enough pain in the ass already it also seemed that it was the first wig I've ever gotten that seemed to just reject the color completely. So I didn't do my usual last step of rinsing the excess and instead styled it with what ink dried in it. So the result was not soft and not as vibrant as I would of liked but I finished it none the less!!!
