Description
This is the view from my garden further up over the lake Siljan i took a couple of dayzzies b4 X-mas eve during the holiday i was home.Bad snow wheaters was visible over the lake there, and we had a white cosy x-mas time

Wow, that's amazing.
I really love this photograph, how it makes the landscape look like a model made of pipe cleaners, or one of those trees you can grow out of crystals, like in the kits I had when I was younger.

There is an optical effect occuring here that I find difficult to describe. I imagine I simply lack the vocabulary in photographic art to adequately illustrate the idea. Specificially, everything below the horizon line looks "miniaturized". In other words, it is difficult to tell whether the setting is "real" or if we are looking at a small "model" of a winter setting. I am sure that this photo is of a real setting, but the optical illusion is impressive. Yet again, I lack the vocabulary to speculate as to how this effect was achieved; perhaps it is the lack of blur or "fuzziness" from focusing? Maybe the resolution was too crisp? Or maybe the dark, icy blues and purples minglle with the outlines enough to get the effect to happen?? I don't really know :shurg: But I know that professional photographers sometimes try to create this illusion--they photograph a scene from very far away in order to make it seem like a model, but you have completed the same illusion without going so far away. The glaze on the ladder and trees illustrates the icy hold that winter maintains over the whole every year. Te overturned ladder symbolizes the power that the freezing cold holds over us all, in that we sometimes succumb to its freezing power.
The lavendar and blue skies keep the piece from being totallly devoid of light and hope. It complements the icy blue of the snow on the ground and the stark white of the frozen trees. A very still and tranquil piece, all around. Well done

Oooh, believe me. There are many plenty mixes of effectzzies i've flooded over to this shot sush as complex HDR, hues, sharpness, blurness..and yes, crispiness! e.tc. I don't remember em' all, but it's funny to be experimental and try to mix with mush 
The original pic itself i took had an very one-sided colour-theme sush as an white-grey-blue forecast. Not as eyecatchy compared to this result which is many times interesting than the untouched one
Don't know what ya mean with "miniaturized", but horizon can't be seen from there i live actually and the areas is lofty 
I wish i took this with a better camera that time
