"It was his secret place to hang out when he wanted to be alone.

But now that he was no longer alone, he wanted to share it with her.

Waves crashed wildly against the coarse rock.
It was a place far away from the others, where Eridan preferred to be. He always came here to think, but for the first time, he decided it would be a nice place to spend time with Nepeta. The winds tousled his hair and made goose bumps rise on his arms from the cold winds coming off the distant sea. Nepeta, although happily purring, was visibly shivering. Eridan removed his sweatshirt and offered it to her. She pulled it over her head and thanked him, snuggling in the soft material. He watched her as she gazed out into the ocean, watching the ever-rolling waves rise with their white foam far in the distance and come crashing down. Streams of water skipped up the rock, licking at Eridan’s feet. He sighed. He could hear Nepeta faintly purring with a silly grin on her face. He ignored the cold winds and stuffed his hands in his pockets and sat unmoving.

He didn’t want this day to ever end."
