Princess Sally Acorn from her young childhood to her current state against Eggman, leading the freedom fighters in justice.

Brief History: Sally Acorn is a female chipmunk/ground squirrel and is the only heir to the throne of Mobius. Maximillion Acorn (father) and Alicia Acorn (mother) are the current rulers of Mobius as king and queen. She was born during the great war. Robotnik (Eggman) declared the kingdom under his rule after sending Maximillion in the void. Being part of the kings council and betraying him. He's the one Sally truly despises. Sally, Sonic and many children have been safely evacuated before the kingdom fell. Robotnik created Robotropolis and roboticized any mobian that'll resisted him. For many years Sally became the leader of the Freedom Fighters against Robotnik's forces. Along with Sonic, Antoine, Bunnie, Tails, Rotor, and her computer Nichole. Safely undercover in Knothole Village with other survivors. Over the years the Freedom Fighters becomes greater in numbers and attacks Robotnik. Taking any chance they got to retrieve the kingdom back and put an end to the long war.

Design Changes: Over the years of developing Sally's design. She want through many changes till her modern look was official. In the earily comic appearances she looked like a female Ricky (brown squirrel with a red bow) but was scrapped. Orange fur with yellow hair and pink fur with black hair was what Sega was going for but still didn't like the combination. Her final look became brown fur, maroon hair, blue eyes, light blue vest, and blue boots. This will be Sally's main attire till her redesign after her robotization as Mecha Sally.

Young Sally: Sally had long maroon hair, pulled back with a small crown and gold rings. Her outfit was a light blue top, pants and shoes. A golden necklace she weared till she got older. As a young child, Sally had no restraints. She was aloud to wonder through the Kingdom of Acorn. She befriended Sonic and they would play almost every day. She even went on trips with her father for negotiation with other tribes/rulers. She met Knuckles before sonic was in the picture. Being an innocent child, she had no idea on leading a kingdom. Her parents would tell her some rules and regulations but they knew she was too young to understand. The peaceful life was cut short when Robotnik declared war against the mobians. She and the many children where able to escape to Knothole. But many weren't so lucky. She's the little girl hiding behind older Sally with Nichole in her hand.

Knothole Leader: Sally gained Nichole the portable computer and her signature light blue vest on her many journeys. Being the last royal member of Acorns, she vowed to end the great war and reclaim back her fallen kingdom. She created a team call the Freedom Fighters. Sally along side Sonic the Hedgehog, Bunnie Rabbot, Antoine D'Coolette, Miles Tails Prower, Rotor Walrus, and her portable computer Nichole. They fight against Robotnik for many years and try to end the great war, having many obstacles in the way. This is her main design for two decades till her redesign after being roboticized.

Light Mobius: 25 years into the future after the first war, Sally and Sonic finally got married. Now being the new king and queen of Mobius they made peace with the council and other tribes/leaders of other kingdoms. It was cut short by a second great war by Robotnik. Sonic went MIA (missing in action). Shadow decided to take Sonic's place and become the new king of mobius. Sally was able to tame his brutal side to make peace with her people. In time Sonic came back and took down King Shadow with the help of Lara-Su (Knuckles and Julie-Su's daughter) and sealed him in a pod under the kingdom. Sonic gain back his place as king again and mentioned to Sally of having children. Five years later they have two children Manik Acorn (male blue hedgehog just like his father but has blue eyes) and Sonia Acorn (female chipmunk/ground squirrel just like her mother but has green eyes). Peace has been steady till King Shadow was released from his pod in suspended animation by Lien-Da. Being told of the current situation of the kingdom he planned to reclaim the throne. By releasing Tikhaos upon the kingdom, then his further presents was left unknown. Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and their children fight against Tikhoas and won. Things became peaceful once again. In this alternate universe Sally is older with long hair. Her orange dress with a yellow crown and jewelry, red and yellow markings and straps, and a variety of orange hues on the dress. Along side King Sonic with his gold crown and red cape with a yellow shoulder plate.

Modern Sally: Before Eggman sends a beam on the whole world to roboticized everyone, Sally was able to send the coordinates to her location. Making the ultimate sacrifice to her kingdom and people of mobius. Turning into Mecha Sally. After sending Sonic away she gotten an upgrade from Eggman. Ordering her on missions against mobius and it's inhabitants. After she turned back into a mobian again her design changed. Her eyes and face are more rounder, hair became shorter, black shorts, black top and closed signature vest, and her light blue boots. She also gained a new power called ring-blades. Light blue rings on her wrists like inhibitor rings but with different abilities. Forming shields, blades, or swords. This is her final design up to date.
SIDE NOTE: As I was coloring her in, I accidentally colored her left leg in black sharpie. That was ment for her shorts, I wasn't paying enough attention. That's why talking on the phone while coloring in sharpie isn't a good idea!

Relationships: Sally's romance has been a complicated one. Her main source of affection is Sonic. They've been though hell and back since they've been children. Both losing their homes and loved ones at a young age. Their friendship soon blossomed into love. Both equaling each others personalities, there love was strong. Soon after Sonic went on missions and Sally had duties to fulfill. They drifted apart for some time. Her father despised the idea of his daughter marring Sonic but soon changed his decision. Sally went to tell Sonic but was heartbroken when she sees him kissing Mina Mongoose. Thinking he's moved on but realizing they still have feelings for each other. Got back together again. But it was cut short once again. Xorda attacked mobius in which sends Sonic into space. Not to be seen or heard from for a year. Sally was emotionally shattered. Once again returning, Sally offered the marriage proposal to Sonic but he refused. Ending the relationship once again. Eventually they get back together and refueling their romance. Sally also had two other relationships while her and Sonic's romance was on hold or ended (for a short time). Geoffry St.John had feelings for the princess but was clashing with the blue blur for her affections. Realizing her feelings weren't towards him, he dropped the subject and stayed friends. Monkey Khan was the second male to have romantic feelings for the princess as well. He's the prince of the Kingdom of the Free People. After being awoken from status, it was love at first sight. He would try to court her and give a willing offer to marry him, becoming Queen of the Free People. She thanked him for the tempting offer but denied. He understood and told Sally if Sonic ever messed up again, he'll be there for her. After Sally was unroboticized, Sonic and Sally remained close friends. Which placing a hold on their romance and love. (dismay of Sonally fans)

Weapons/Powers: Sally may not have the same powers as Sonic. What she lacks in power she gains from strategy. She's very skilled in martial arts, hand to hand combat, and weaponry usage. After escaping to Knothole, Sally was trained by her cousin and mentor Julayla in self defense and reflexes. She's the brains in the operation while Sonic is the brawns. Sally has many skills of a hacker, strategist, martial arts, acrobats, and a leader. Since one day she'll become queen of Mobius, she has to learn all the things to become a great leader. With everything that comes with it. With her portable computer Nichole, Sally is able to hack into Robotnik's defenses and gain some access into his files. They eventually create a machine to reverse the roboticizer and turn all the metal mobians into their normal self's again.

Other Media: Sally's main apperance is in the Archie Comics. She has appeared in a sonic video game called Sonic Spin Ball (Sega Genesis series). She's the far right pod while Sonic is trying to free them in a spin ball machine. You can play as Sally if you have the right codes and hookups. In the Sonic the Hedgehog game (Sega Genesis), she's a sprite that takes Sonic's place in the game. Her only TV series she's in is Sonic SATAM (Saturday Morning Sonic). The cartoon is bases of the Archie Comics after Robotnik strated the great war. Creating the Knothole Freedom Fighters. Sally and Sonic as the main protagonists. Sadly this series only has two seasons before the third season was canceled. The show ran in 1993-1994. Sally doesn't have any merchandise besides the Archie Comics and the Spin Ball appearance. Some people create Sally figures and products but it's hard to come by these days.
