Another shot of my Franziska cosplay, that my bf took at this year's yaoi-con!Description- I'm super happy with how this costume turned out, and it is definately not as simple as it looks to make it XD! The whip was made with materials I bought, and i couldn't of been happier with the result, the square buttons were really hard to find, but i managed to find some i liked. I decided to have contrast and have smaller square ones on the cuff.
The wig I adore, and is the perfect color! I was so worried i'd look like an old granny cause of the color!
I was really worried about the front of the vest, because of the odd, triangular cut out shape it has, but i'm very happy with how it turned out. One thing i wasn't happy with, was with how delicate the black stockings were, they ripped so easily >_

just one thing is not perfect in this von-karma-fection (lol) ... your wig is strange... REALLY perfect colour, SO difficult to find!!! but maybe too long an straight in front and too short on the back... TwT ... but maybe it's just a wrong impression

it's painted tubing, all hand-made from random stuff to create what you see~!

you know I only have to point out one thing: your make up. It should've been much more pale and luminous to blend with the wig so it wouldn't look as much as a wig.

How did you do the vest? I'm making a Franzy costume myself, and I'm having some truoble with the vest. xD I can't find a pattern that works, as neither me or my mom are very good at altering sewing patterns. xD; Help? XP;

sorry i can't offer much help as i didn't use a pattern ;_;
all i can say is i looked at a vest pattern and altered from there, making 2 mock-ups out of cheap fabric, before i got a vest i liked, and used that as my pattern

I would desperately love to cosplay Franziska, though I'm not sure I trust buying a costume from ebay and I... cannot sew for the life of me.

i'm sorry to say, but i don't do commissions, i just don't have the time to. I struggle finding time for my own costumes even i'm sorry
There's a lot of people who cosplay that commission that you could probably message, if ebay isn't an option for you, you could just search google- cosplay commission.

This is the best Franziska cosplay I've seen yet. I do have one thing to critique though, the sleeves aren't as tight and the shoulder puffs aren't as puffy as I think they should be -- but other than that, this is perfect.

thanks! And about the sleeves, it was just personal preference on doing them that way, i didn't try to make them as accurate because i don't really like how it looks if they were to be super tight, so i took some liberty and did it how i liked it instead ^^

Ah, all right then. I thought it might be that the material you used didn't want to puff up like that or something. Everything else was flawlessly done as far as I can tell, and the wig is perfect. Keep up the great work.

Thats why I gave up on the wig and styled my own hair >D (but hell - this too wasn't perfect because stupid toner I used turned to be little too dark XD) but one think I really like on Your cosplay is this whip - it's such a freakin pain in the ass to do it right XDDD and Yours look almost perfect ^W^

buttons are hell and I know something about it (I made them myself for my cosplay XD so much love for FIMO SOFT XDDD) You look good but maybe stylizing the wig a bit would add some more points to apperance ?

ohhh trust me that wig is styled XD it used to be at my hips, cause i couldn't find the right color wig and chopped away at it. I always thought franziska had a more choppy look, and not something so nice, and perfect XD! Though I do agree i need to comb it together a bit, since it got a little icky in this pic!

It's awesome to see you pay so much attention to details, unlike sloppy cosplayers that would rather change it or neglect it than waste a looot of time looking for some detail.

the broach was made by hand, and the buttons were bought at a store called britex and painted
