I am not quite certain just how many times I have painted this Punk Rocker Rebel..but it has got to be at least twenty or so times now..when I sometimes get at my lowest, one of the three things I reach for first are always the same three..Art..Music and my Beloved Punk Tribe..it will always be the same three healing methods when the world outside comes along and smacks you into the dirt every so often..life can be a pain like that hey?..so..one has to reach out for someone or grasp onto the things they hold most dear to heart..and this trio have often saved me from despair or hurt or horror of the daily world of nonsensical bluster n bullshite..I just put my fave tunes on the playlists and press repeat play and then pick up my Art Tools of Mass Imagination..and as to the world outside with all the madness..well..that simply just fades into the background and becomes very hushed whitenoise..my calm returns..my peace walks through the threshold and sits with me along with a pair of twin katFiendz who love to watch me draw and purr their fuzzy noggins off while I scribble for 9 10 11 hours straight in total serenity and my zone of Zen..art and music are always the bestest of healing tools..they have never failed me or all the very many wonderful creative people I know..two simple things can cure all types of ills and the darkest of demons by just picking up your art kit and putting your thoughts and feelings onto the page laid before you..works every single time..for people who have a creative spirit and an artistic soul there is nothing more better than losing yourself in your art for a few hours..and if I myself can combine the subjects I hold dear together in a particular moment in time, then I am one very happy peaceful Punk Rocker indeed..this Punk is for a series I am still working on..its an ongoing situation because when it comes to Punk I am always looking and seeking out people for their looks or the way they walk or even just get inspired by the jackets or their individuality and even the words they speak within one vast human punk family..the inspirations are everywhere..so I won't tire of my tribe ever..for me..my punk family saved my life from a very dark place and I have never looked back..its always forward..the series of portraits for 'Punk Beautiful' I've completed number now to about fifteen..I think??😀😊..but this particular girl has a spell on me and I re-draw her often..changing the colours and the backgrounds and just playing with a variety of things..I think she put a magic spell on me somewhere along the line..the Rascally Renegade💖💜💖💜💖👍✊✌(/-\)......
