The brutal gamorreans forced her down, onto her knee. The hooded Jawa who had been loitering in a corner shuffled forward, producing an injector, and sticking it's needle into her neck, which had come within the short creature's range. A yet smaller alien, like an imp, having sprung from somewhere else, danced beside her, mockingly, laughing a shrill laugh. The Jawa pumped the injector's contents into her bloodstream. The room swam before her- and she reeled, catching glimpses of the faceless companions who were abandoning her, and the alien monsters surrounding her. (Only the Twilek slave on the stage looked at Cathryne with sorrowful sympathy. Who better understood the new captive's fate?) The last thing she heard was Jabba giving an order for her to be taken and scanned for implanted devices, and then to be prepared for him...
