Some one just suggested Richard Hammond as 'Penfold'

That's a thought that's gonna keep giving..

And on that thought if ol' Delboy can't do DM then David Tennant would be a good replacement (IMHO) That or Rowan Attkinson.

I see where you are going but I honestly think Edgar would have a far better read on the subject matter.

Obviously you have to get David Jason back as DM but who do you cast as Penfold? Sadly the wonderful Terry Scott is no longer with us.

Let's just hope it never becomes a naff live action/cg hybrid like Alvin...

True Edgar Wright would have a great handle on the rapid fire nature of the material, I'm just not sure he can do an animated movie. Hey if they did go with him then how about Nick Frost for the voice of Penfold?

I found an article from a while back saying Chris Nolan wanted to make a Danger Mouse movie, something for his kids to watch

If I was casting then I'd have Daniel Craig as DM (After all he is based on James Bond) Graham Norton as Penfold and Ray Winstone as Greenback. and to Direct Maybe Shane Acker who directed the animated movie 9.....or Micheal Bay

Daniel Craig? No no no no... You need to remember the underlying layer f Lame despite the absolute awesome that DM undoubtedly was... Rowen Atkinson would be awesome.. And let's not for get David Jason IS still knocking round... But
