Hello my copic past times is digitally altering colors until I get the actual tones I want.

Also! It's a cobra themed basalisk, I was coming up with the design for it (like I did with the cockatrice earlier when I drew it with Ren) and I was thinking about possible designs that would focus a viewer or prey into looking into the eyes of the snake. I came up with that yellow flared skin bit, by arking it up and also looking forward, the face would have a yellow and bright kind of halo. Therefore the viewer would automatically see the eyes!

I draw Zina small all the time, it's not because she's always small or is even small a lot of the time in plot, it's just because I like her being a war weapon at a young age. It captures a feeling i think.

(while i did alter the colors, it was not dramatic. for example the blue/purple of the snake was usually more grey. and zina's hair is also originally grey. Mostly what I did was alter the grey midtones to blue)
