Well, Jhonen did toy with the idea of Zim seeing the beauty in humanity to grow to appropriate height and, per Invader Dib, as confirmed by head writer Eric Trueheart, become the newer ruler alongside Gaz as his Queen.

You misunderstand, dear. I meant physically grow, not grow in maturity. I'm all for the concept of Zim growing in that respect and learning about humanity. I'm just not generally comfortable when people make him shoot up like a beanstalk for no real reason. It's not as though he's a smeet. As far as we know he's the tallest he will get.

Well, the reason being is that the series finale, Invader Dib, was going to have him, Skoodge, Larb, Zita, and Tenn (to be rescued from the Meekrob in Battle of Meekrob) against Dib and the combined Resisty and Meekrob armies (of which Dib would be made commanding general, unquestionably due to his bulbous head).

Tak would return as a villain in the Day of the Spookies episode, but in the finale, she would likely align with Dib (not because she likes him, for, if anything, Dib likes her, but Tak would use this to her advantage to manipulate Dib) out of hate towards Zim and resentment towards her own species for leaving her to rot stranded somewhere due to the events of her debut episode. Meanwhile, Gaz would, unsurprisingly for some, side with the Irkens, appearing out of the shadows as a hooded cloaked figure with only her amber eyes visible, convincing Zim and company to not give up the fight.

Somehow, no doubt out of pure luck, Zim ends up being the one to save the day, protecting his kind from attempted mass genocide. As a result, he's given a hero's welcome, and thereby replaces the incompetent Red and Purple (the then-current Tallest) as leader. But he isn't alone, for with no family to speak of, courtesy of an absentee father, a mother whose remains are in a jar in the Professor's lab (the jar even has the label "Mom" written on it), and brother Dib ultimately being banished with the remainder of his forces to the desolate reaches of the planet Saturn, Gaz ends up joining Zim, becoming his right hand, or to be more precise, his Queen Consort, or as she would put it, his Empress, lording over him and his "people" (because even creator Jhonen Vasquez admits to Gaz being the sanest and smartest character of the entire series), as she and Zim would become the new rulers of Irk together.

Jhonen himself even said that, probably as a result of this inter-species union (at InvaderCon II, Jhonen himself confirmed that the union would happen if romance ever became a focal point and it definitely would seem as though the finale was headed in that direction, thanks to head writer Eric Trueheart, as well as Richard Horvitz and Mellssa Fahn themselves both being in full support of the idea), Zim would ultimately begin to see the beauty in humanity.

According to some, this is what causes Zim to grow to appropriate height and become the new Tallest, but according to others, he just becomes the first-ever Almighty Smallest in a sort of height reversal thing. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean that Zim's given up on his original mission to make Earth his (or rather, theirs, since Gaz is united with him now).

But as Empress, Gaz would be the only human remotely (I say remotely, because normal humans do not have demonic powers and, as a result, it is highly suspected that Gaz may not be human, as Dib himself was to be revealed as a failed cloning attempt by Professor Membrane, yet Gaz's origins remain a mystery, with some of the opinion that the test subject listed as her mother was not actually human after all, but rather something else entirely, which would also account for Dib's obsession with the paranormal and why Gaz wants him to shut up about it, because it brings about painful memories of what could have been) to not be subordinate to Zim when it comes to the Organic Enslavement (taking over of Earth), because Future Dib itself proved that there's nobody, whether human or Irken, that's unfazed by Gaz's darkness (except maybe Tak, but that's another story and probably part of why she's put into exile with Dib).

Well..they never would be able to without a genetic engineering and a professional smeet chamber..doesn't matter how big either one is...sure..they could have sex..but it would only serve as a bonding act..unless Irken females only serve as an incubation chamber..Gaz's womb may become inflamed though..as it would merely bee seen as an obstruction..the water in her body would fry the baby anyway..

I thought that was just a girlfriend who looked a lot like Gaz. She looked way to happy to be Gaz, and with the way she was holding his arm, it would be really creepy if it was Gaz. Still creepy on Dibs part though.

Yep. Both he & Tim Burton specialize in dark, creepy stuff. Both are geniuses as a result, since they're the only ones to be accepted for such in America, I believe.

Because he can. He is ZIM, soon-to-be Almighty Tallest. With your help, of course, Gaz-human. Why would you help him you ask? To spite Dib and because really, Zim is the only to have honestly made you laugh (at his expense though), the one to risk being sent to a nightmare world by carrying you as an umbrella and replacing a vital organ with your even more precious Game Slave without actually being doomed, never mind that your voice actors--Richard for Zim & Melissa for you--seem to like the concept, and creator Johnen Vasquez even approved a script where Tak and Dib are sent to Saturn, whilst you go with Zim to Irk after Earth is destroyed.
