I always wanted to develop roakai's parents more so here we go, of course designs and info is subject to change in the future.

Gaius has been working for the federation for most of his life, growing up with a jolly trickster of a father, he values honesty and fairness but has a healthy sense of humor. He was one of the most successful rangers within the federation but stepped down once Roakai was born, a decision he was contemplating even before then. Nevertheless he is still in top shape for someone his age and despite his many scratches and scars, still carries the spirit of his jovial father.

Kerthis is a female Sparrkgoyle, a group of people indigenous to the continent the federation was founded on. Kerthis has a somewhat intimidating aura, and is known to be a very ferocious fighter. Though usually quiet, she is capable of sonic screeches, bursts of sparrk energy, and is just all around a force to be reckoned with. She and Gaius met during some federation relations work many years ago. Despite her appearance when roakai was born she was actually somewhat afraid to touch him at first, likely due to the fear of hurting him. But her fears died down when they learned that he generated his own sparrk and was immune to his mother's sparrk while he was young. She soon began to coddle, and even hoard him away from Gaius for a while.
