She kind of reminds me of Doppel from daily life with a monster girl as they are both shapeshifters that make me think of lovecraftian horror.
Dopple's race are also known as "shadow people" which makes me think that they are related in a way like how tigers, cougars and house cats are.
I can't help but think that the People of Darkness would see Nyarlathotep as their creator deity.
