Behold! The Sacred Blade itself! Caliburn!So yeah, those who have played 'Sonic and the Black Knight' Should know this 'character'.
Took about a week to make/paint. And to be honest, I've had him for QUITE a while now x3;; I just haven't really uploaded anything to DA in a while.
This WILL be at Expo.

When you say it'll be at Expo, do you mean the London Expo in October? 
Myself and a group of mates are planning on doing full SatBK mascot costumes, so I'll have to get on and make Caliburn and the gauntlet.

If you check the date, I submitted this almost 2 years ago xD I took it to MCM London Expo back in October 2009 x3 Odds are I won't be bringing it to next expo,especially since I should be selling it, don't want it to get damaged, as I'll be bringing enough weapons as it is to the next one. I will keep an eye out for you guys though! If you need any tips or help, feel free to note me ^^

I'd definitely need some tips on the gauntlet, I've been trying to find a plastic 'toy' one as the basis with no luck and I'm not sure I can get plasticard to stay in the right shape >_<

Well, my decentish one that I made and ended up wearing was made from card~ and made all in segments, like armor was. I could possibly draw out a template if you'd like~?

Yeah, card would be a lot easier to work with, plus it'd probably only be used once or twice. A template would a huge help! Thanks

Wow! I'm pretty jealous you got to meet Jun! Anyway~ I can attempt to make the Gauntlet again, and could probably make it a LOT better, and more durable since I've had a lot of experience with armorcraft now, cause I think I might've thrown my gauntlet out as it got crushed). As for the Sheath~ I could attempt to make one~ what would you like it made out of~? Also, would you like it based off the Excalibur sheath that 'Arthur' has in SatBK? Pricewise, I'm not really sure, I haven't honestly put a price on it yet, what would you be willing to offer for it~? Gauntlet would be priced differently, depending on how I make it. I'd have to ask for hand measurements, since I built mine with a rough estimate of my own hand, and it fit 'okayish'. But yes, give me an estimate of what you think you'd pay for Caliburn, and I'll try to price up the gauntlet. I've got a LOT of cosplay work that I'm working on at the moment, so I really don't know when I'll have any spare time to work on other stuff~

For the sheath, i would like it based on Arthurs Excalibur Scabbard. The material it is made from can be anything of your choice as long as its durable. For the price of Caliburn, im willing to pay anything between £10 and £30. As for the hand measurements, I dont know the dimensions of my own hand. Ill have to get back to you on the hand thing. Like I said before there's no rush to get this done quickly as ive got a year until SOS12

That's a bit low in comparison with the materials and time spent on it. The sword itself has a metal 'pole' running through the hilt to part of the blade for stability, so it's supported more. It's not suited for 'sparring' possibly light contact but no more than light taps really, just to be safe. It took a good few days to make, and bits of it were a tad annoying to put together, unlike the Master Sword which was a lot harder. £55 for sword and Scabbard once I've made it maybe~? The gauntlet shouldn't be more than £20 I don't think. Depends on how well it all decides to go together.

Ok. That sounds good to me. I wont need then until next year so there's no rush to make them. That will also give of me time to save up some cash so I can buy then from you when they are finished. It will probably take a few months before I have the cash for them. When I an ready to pay you for them, I shall let you know. Thanks again for this dude :-D

Well, heads up, the shipping to send it over there would be a fair bit. Since it'll be in a tall box, weighted with the sword AND with packing materials, such as bubble wrap ect.

I love this. So epic. I don't care what anyone else says. I'm a fan of ALL Sonic games. I liked the story of this one a lot. Is it to scale? Length I mean. Like, when you hold it does it look like a real sword?

Yup, it's to scale to me, so when I hold it, it's like a real sword. From end to end, it's 120cm The blade being 80cm's long
