i've talked about this with my buddieson many occasions...an animated series set during the original trilogy time period is a license for lucas to print money. oh well...i'm still looking forward to the clone wars movie.

i kinda look forward to the new clone wars thing, though this 'interest' i feel is quite passionless and arbitrary and probably just out of habit. kinda like christmas - i am too old for anyone to buy me anything cool anymore, but there is the smallest excitment of finding out what colour socks await me. oooh, or maybe undershirts?... an original trilogy series would surely strip away my aged cynicism.

i wish lucasfilm would have done more 'clone wars' style 2D projects. i would have liked an anthology of one-off stories from all eras of the star wars universe, especially the original trilogy span... oh well, i guess i'll convince myself that the forced 3D clone wars isn't tired and unapealling...
