Despite how he always acted high and mighty (sometimes a bit mischievous too), Phillip actually treasures friendship and harmony; he would fight for them if these things were to be unfairly taken away from him. He always thought that he's going to end up a Slytherin, but due to his true nature he spent his last six years in the House of Gryffindor.

Aside from his closet-sentimentality, Phillip is also a sadist and very unforgiving; he knows how to hold grudges if someone were to anger him. Though he truly wants to steer to violence, he prefers to do it “playfully”. He loves pulling nasty pranks towards people he dislikes (for a good reason). He is considered the bully of bullies.

Although a loner by nature, he enjoys doing club activities (mainly because he loves cooking). He likes to try and invent new recipes, and made them as bizarre as can be...though he generally doesn’t put a “warning label” on them because of the potential volatility each of his creations could have. He has a habit of forcefully feeding them to the other club members. "Come on, just try it. It wouldn't be that bad..."

History :

Phillip is a proud and lofty wizard even when he was still young. He displayed a great aptitude for magic and his parents, both purebloods, were very proud of him. His father was a renowned alchemy wizard in Europe while his mother a Charms teacher at Durmstrang Institute; thanks to them Phillip was already accustomed in the arts of magic even at such a young age.

Being somewhat an arrogant child, he was disliked by his peers who were also potential witches and wizards...save for one boy. Phillip, at first, bullied the poor boy with some pranks, thinking this boy was just trying to use him for his parents’ influence in the magical world. Until finally, realizing the boy was genuinely kind, did he sincerely accept his hand of friendship.

His dear friend disappeared one day; the young Phillip thought that he was just like the other kids who would leave him when they grew tired of him. It was so sudden when Phillip came home from a stood up meeting that his parents started packing up all their belongings. He never understood why but they all left to move down south where it was “safer”. It had always been a mystery to him; his friend’s disappearance and the sudden move. Phillip had always thought himself intellectual and mature that he would pester his parents to no end to explain themselves to him. Though their answers only came a few years later when he was old enough to understand. The magicals in Scandinavia were already experiencing the muggle’s hostility for quite some time, and his parents thought it was best to get away before things would escalate to a point of no return. Eventually, the topic about “The Second Witch Trials” was brought up. Phillip felt bad thinking so lowly of his dear friend, having not known what his true fate was those past years. His friend presumed dead, killed in such a brutal manner that made it seem the 25 children’s deaths by fire was far more merciful. Investigations speculated the following deaths that year were done by foolish muggles who idol-worshipped those terrorists who organized the trial. Phillip swore to himself that if he were to grow up to be a strong wizard, he would protect the magical world...especially the people he cares about.

Eventually, an invitation from Hogwarts reached their doors. Though his parents had long dreamt their son to attend Durmstrang like they did, they told him he would be attending Hogwarts given the present situation of Scandinavia. Phillip heard rumors about Hogwarts and somewhat took an interest in the Slytherin House reputation, and hoped his pure-blood lineage would bring him there. Once he sat in the Sorting Ceremony did he become a near Hatstall.

Honest and unwavering yet lacking a Hufflepuff's tolerance.
Wittily wise yet lacking a Ravenclaw's inventiveness.

Gryffindor was what the Sorting Hat bellowed for him despite Phillip’s “silent” argument with the hat. Despite his evident disappointment, those of his House welcomed him warmly.

His days in Hogwarts were filled with obsession for the pursuit of power. Phillip grew even more wary of the threat from the muggle world; it didn’t help that he already had a general dislike for muggles thanks to his parents’ opinions of those creatures. Despite his distaste for muggles, he tries his best not to show it towards the muggle-borns in the school...after all, they’re all on the same side of this “war”, right? And despite of it all, he still also tries to enjoy his days at school especially now that he is at his last year in Hogwarts. He doesn't have many friends but that makes him treasure them even more; treating them well was his unconscious way of forgiving himself for what he once felt about his late friend. Being quite arrogant still because of his considerably exceptional grades, he often skips classes and spends the entire class hour in the library “researching” on his own. Though strangely enough, as though memory taunting him...one of the students of this school bears an uncanny resemblance to his friend if he were to still be alive.

Would this last school year in Hogwarts make a difference…?

Though the most surprising part is how the cake was actually delicious. Since that day, Phillip tries to get his revenge by bullying her everyday; but still to no avail, for every prank he did to her, she just laughs it off. That part of her still fascinates him even today.
