I've seen, been told about and haven been dared to read pairings of Ichigo with EVERY Captain, all but 2 Vice-Captains, a lot of his school friends, Everyone at the Urahara shop, Most of the Espada and several other arrancar. I think that's more than 14...

Well, it's a good thing I DIDN'T just here you say there's a story about Ichigo and Yamamoto.

Taking a wild guess, the two lieutenants are Omaeda and Sasakibe.

Anywho, the only Ichi-pairing I like is Ichiruki. I absolutely can't bring myself to read anything else. What about you?

Actually Omaeda and Iba, and yes, there was a Yamamoto one...
I don't really see Ichigo and Rukia as a couple, more best friends, I have a lot of female friends I love, but could never do anything romantic or sexual with (sober at least). I will admit I like Ichihime, just fits better in my mind, and I prefer Rukia with Renji.

Okay, now I'm just curious, how does Ichigo and Orihime, and Renji and Rukia fit better together in your mind.

And you cannot use, "Rukia is an old dead chick." "Orihime chose Ichigo as her final goodbye (We both know Tatsuki would have gotten more out of it, hell we were both expecting her to chose Tatsuki.) and nearly kissed him."

And by the way here's why I think Renji and Rukia will never be more than best friends. Back at the scene Rukia and Renji were talking about Rukia possibly being adopted. Now any idiot could see that Rukia was silently begging Renji to tell her he wanted her to stay. Renji of course practically threw her at Byakuya. And now because of that, Renji is forever in the dreaded "Friend" zone.

By the way in Renji's flash back episode during his and Ichigo's second fight. He basically admitted that there is no chance of anything deeper between him and Rukia.

Yes, I'm a nerd with no life. Hell you've more than likely not given any thought as to why the characters should be together.

I'll admit not, mainly due to the fact we can speculate as much as we want but in the end Tite Kubo has the final say, as to why, I don't know, they just do, and I see where you're coming from but I think the reason Renji didn't want say anything was due to his fear of Byakuya, still, only time will tell, all 4 of them could end up with other character for all we know.

I know, I would honestly not be surprised if someone has written a fanfic about a lesbian Ichigo... and I guess the Hollow pairing gives a new meaning to the phrase "Go Fuck Yourself"
