This is the fourth year I'm doing the June Toon challenge. For the third week in this years June Toon challenge, the theme is video game characters. For day 16, I drew Shadow the Hedgehog from the Sonic the Hedgehog video game franchise. Shadow first appeared in Sonic Adventures 2 when it was released in 2001 and was intended to be his only appearace, but he proved to be a very popular character that he went on to appear in more Sonic games starting with Sonic Heroes (2004) alongside the anime Sonic X and in other television series, films, comics and even had the spin-off video game released in 2005.
