Actually I don't know how to explain how I did it, the only thing that changed through my experience with colour pencils is that I payed more attention to the layers. I advise you to read this tutorial ([link] ), it helped me a lot.

Yes, I drew it but I used a photo as reference. I don't think if you do that you'll get sued, because if you were, everyone here in DA who make portraits would get too.
