Musashi Miyamoto alias Takezo Shinmenda un'illustrazione ad acquarelli di Vagabond, del grande Takehiko Inoue.
Un altro studio extra per il corso di illustrazione.
Questi lavori sono fatti da me a piacere per studiare e divertirmi assieme.
Questo lavoro in particolare รจ dedicato a Nico, grande amante come me di questo autore e anche mio buon sostenitore nella via della katana... ops, scusate, dell'illustrazione.
Matite grafite 2H, HB, B2.
Leggermente contrastato al computer (solo per recuperare tono perso con lo scanner).
Formato originale: A4.

the original is a watercolour (one of my favorite of Inoue), and yes, i made the bird at the end of the all drawing, so it's not so... cute

amazing, i love vagabond. one of the best mangas i've read after Death Note.

I think I will forever remember Vagabond as a series where the protagonist went through the most drastic of changes. The reason I love this drawing is precisely that it reflects that change, right after Takezo/Musashi starts to attain enlightenment. What I love the most is how this picture retains Inoue's influences while at the same time having a life of its own. This is most certainly a great pencil drawing of an excellent manga. Congratulations!
