Enyo paced the wall, not THE wall but a usual garden wall that happened to look over the surrounds countryside. Her gaze set on the far horizon. Pretending there wasn't a sea of roofs between her and it.

"What do you think it's like out there" she mused aloud. Rolling her eyes in mock irritation as Bensen gave a non committal shrug.

"Like is it really THAT hard to just catch em and bring them back?" He laughed at that, perhaps trying to break her out of the thought process or maybe he really did think it was a stupid thing to say… "I just mean.. like they have kids all the time. How hard is it grab one and run back?" She turned to look at him then.

"Do you think I could do it? Hypothetically of course"

It'd been something her brother had said… no doubt soothing her ego saying she'd have been a great hunter in another life… but that this wasn't it. That she hadn't shown them she was worthy of being a hunter… no he hadn't meant it like that. But… it was like a flea in her ear. Constantly niggling.

She'd always struggled with her "Job" or lack there off. The sitting still the endless pointless chat and parties. The lack of a true PURPOSE. Oh how she wished for something else… if only she could prove she was worthy.

"Of course I think you could do it, you could probably do anything if you put your mind to it"

His easy response to her odd question both surprised her and warmed her heart, she'd not expected quite so serious a response from him, his usual laid back jokes better at distracting her from her usually self destructive spirals. She bopped him the head with a laugh, eager to dispel her own questionable ideas which were starting to go in directions she wasn't all ready for.

"I'll race ya to the docks!"

I did the bg while she did an amazing job on the kitties!

This bg predates my othe more recent uploads and it really helped me fall in I'll be with drawing again, I'd been picturing these two enjoying the view which Poe made happen, and I jut love how it turne out <3

Time for Enyo and Bensen to finally accept that they've grown up, even if they'd rather not.. as usual Enyo is implying about her lot in life, while Ben brings the sunshine and playfulness as usual! He beats her back to the docks via some calculated roof jumps while Enyo gets caught up in foot traffic, rookie error.
