Description Inspired by the Swallow the Sun Song New Moon from their recent album of the same name (No relation to the Twilight novel- thank God). I painted a piece for each song on that album but I'm only going to submit the best pieces.

Thank you...I think most of the colours in the piece wound up that way because of "happy accidents" in my palette!

I really like it! The composition is just lovely and the colours are great! I only donΒ΄t like that the lines in the middle are kind of crooked. I know that is because of the curtains, but still, it somehow bothers me. But the rest is really beautiful

Thank you....I can see what you mean about the lines. Now you've mentioned it, its does distract the eye, even though it's technically correct. Thanks for pointing it out though, something to try and avoid in the future.

As for "getting steadily worse", it would be hard to compete with something like this-- if a piece was better it would have to be more than amazing
