Disa - an Arabian crossbreed who is feisty and enjoys punking chickens (no, really)
Balfour - a squire's stead, Disa's best mate, a big, calm guy
Skydancer - a prospective racehorse, fiery, mischievous, enjoys causing ruckus
Ana - Sky's disapproving mum, she wishes he would settle down already
Bonus Io! - a wild mare Skydancer finds and brings home to mama. I like to imagine Io and Ana bond over their shared exasperation over Sky's antics.
