Lyall the prehistoric wolf pup meets a saber-toothed tiger cub named Cassius. Lyall, being very inquisitive, has many questions about this stranger who looks so very different from him. Cassius seems happy to finally have someone his own age to play with potentially.
The two youngsters are too little to understand they are natural enemies ...
Of all Koey's characters, I think Lyall is the most adorable design-wise and I've been dying to draw him with Cassius for ages.
The flora are supposed to be day-lilies and smilax. I dunno if they existed back then?
