gir in the dog costume from invader zim.this is the gir costume that i made for my son for this halloween. i had only a picture to work from. this costume was made completely from scratch and took me a little over a week to complete!

materials: foam rubber, cardboard, broadcloth, styrofoam balls, silver metallic fabric, felt, batting, and of course, my sewing machine.
he actually got his picture in the local newspaper in this costume

certainly!! i made the head out of foam rubber which came in squares at the local fabric store. it worked well and required very little cutting.

yep, completely from scratch (trust me, they don't make gir patterns

awww... poor thing! i feel your pain, the only people who knew who he was supposed to be were quite a few teenagers (pre-teens) and some adults.
