It almost even sees like if it is made there for real

That's really good : ) The gargoyle actually looks like it's made from the sand on the ground.
The only thing is, and a lot of people have mentioned it already, is the clash of the sky and the water. I think the water would be a brighter blueish-turquoise colour. But that's only from me over-analysing it.
