yeah. this is a real book this time, and it was about these two people who loved eachother and even got a fourtune ccard that said "you are destined to be together forever" and the guy can see dead people and his name is Odd Thomas and her name is Stormy and there was this mass murder that was going to go on in his town in a mall, but originally they thought it was going to be in a bowling alley, so he told her to go to work, and the people who caused the murder shot seventeen people, and when Stormy and Odd went home after being in the hospital ( he got shot) his friends come and tell him that Stormy is dead, but he doesn't think so because she is right there, then he realizes that he is just seeing her ghost, and that he has to let her go, so she ends up dying right as you got happy that she survived...
