For an art trade with , and the start of a LOST character-a-day for the month of June! Fear not, I'll be posting other stuff too, like finishing my other trade and my requests, for instance.Anyway, Kate: The good things!
To avoid a bitter rant, here's what I like about her:
She does generally try to do what's right kinda
She wasn't a totally terrible mother to Aaron while she had him
She did learn not to run so much
She came back to find Claire, not for Sawyer-lovins
She doesn't know when or why detonating hydrogen bomb and shooting kids became OK, but she doesn't approve
She climbs trees really well and without her people would be eating bruised fruits
She can track boar
She did a good job helping Claire give birth
Her stepdad deserved to be blown up and that was actually pretty cool.
...That's about it.

This drawing is really amazing to me because you captured a bright light with just minimal shading. If the original picture wasn't like that, you totally improved upon it. XD

Lol I kinda hate kate, shes a bit dull (The hostiles wont think of us as friends, so lets bring GUNS!) but I still liked her more this season than any other. At least she managed to go the whole season (not including the finale) without flip flopping between Jack and Sawyer.
ANYHOW, you somehow did a portrait of her where I actually LIKE her. Now that is an accomplishment. This really is a lovely portrait and I love the shading. I also really like what youve done with the background

Heh, same here. I really despise Kate, but since there was an entire episode where I liked her (Whatever Happened, Happened)she's definitely been the best for me this season. The fact that she disagreed with Daniel's plan and thought he was insane, but still gave him a gun with the safety off brought her back down though.
