It's a bird on a branch!! OH NOES!...Don't ask me why he's in a tree with no leaves. I assume the gypsy moths nested there.
Basically, this is my first ever attempt at "speed painting." It probably took me, like, 5 hours, and it isn't great, but I like the background.
This was originally going to be one of the birds from "what are these?" but... well, 5 minutes in I realized that every referance I had for them sucked, and there were a few different ones.
So, random bird in moth-eatten tree!

Wow. That's beautiful. It kind of looks like a bird we have in Australia, except for the head. It looks very real, and the sky is done well.

I love your digital painting style. The soft colors you used brings this picture out really well. I'm in love with how you did the sky, including those feathery clouds. You're good at blending, and I think the bird turned out really well. I like how you colored it in a way that the bird looks feathery and fluffy. I think it's pretty good for a speed painting. Painting something like this would take longer than just 5 hours for me
