This might be my last upload for a while (shouldn't be much longer than a month, but expect a drop in activity) , as my pc is having some errors and lag spikes that I'd rather wait out than push the machine too hard. I made sure to finish this picture at least before I went quiet

So, here's a full picture of the twins AleX (on the left) and Drake (the right) the Hedgehogs together. I figured since I wanted this picture to be one of the official ones for their story (my upcoming series), to do it in a more quality looking style, so I looked at the basics of sonic x art and worked from there.

Anyway, since I wont be very active for a while, I'll leave some info about their story through the series and some bonus info about them not mentioned in their individual bios that I uploaded!

Bonus character info-

though not very clear from this image, Drake is actually taller than AleX by a couple inches (counting their height as ending with the head itself, not counting the spines). AleX only seems taller because he has more spines, causing his hair to seem bigger.

though they are mentioned as twins, Zerlon is their brother as well. The three are in fact, triplets- but due to Zerlon being evil, AleX and Drake do not consider him one of them. Basically an "i have no son" situation. But with brothers.

There is symbolism of old and new in their respective characters. Drake was the first born of the pair, and is slightly more serious and rationally thinking ahead and of solutions, whilst AleX is more joking and lighthearted, but able to think fast. AleX prefers video games and tech whilst Drake prefers card games and motorcycles books.

Story info-

Their story takes place in pre-sonic mobius, roughly 20 or so years before Sonic is born- so the majority of the official cast have not been born (with exceptions of Shadow, eggman, etc). No members of the official game cast will appear. It is an entirely original tale with all new characters to tell their story.

the old/new symbolism of AleX and Drake reflects the land of the story. Mobius at this time is a world where the old culture has been dominated by new, to the point where symbols of the old are barely understood by the people. Old monuments, ruins, buildings and shrines lack meaning, nobody knows their purpose, their true ages. The people have no decent records to go by to understand the old culture. Who were their ansestors, what was their culture like? the world they lived in? the dangers they faced? the gods they turned to, scared and alone in the night? None of the people know the answers.

Through the story, the twins will learn more about themselves and the world around them through the people they meet along the way, the qualities they show, the things they experience on their race to stop a great evil in the land. A tale of new and of old, of love and of loss in a world where the strongest bonds are the ones you already have, the ones you know that when your at deaths door, you can turn to to set you free. None of the characters will be the same at the end of the tale.

I'm hoping to be able to show you more about the series when I get back, could be more info, some art, maybe if things go really well the first episode could be ready on my return, but thats only if things go really smoothly.
