This was for the last project of my sophomore year. It was an open assignment so I chose to redesign a Magic: The Gathering card. This is Necropotence from Ice AgeRelated content

The image is great. However I would have reversed the symbols on the left hand to give it more balance. Just me though, great work either way!

neat... Necropotence is one of my fav cards of all time.
I can see Chaos Orb, the Mana Vault and the original Necropotence skull... if one day they reprint Necropotence (not), this will make for a good textless card

The angle here makes me smile.
Well, if you can call it that. It's not really framing- moreso how the figure is positioned within the room/how the viewers see that.
Holy crap I'm tired.
At any rate, this made me smile not just for the technical reasons that I lack the ability to describe fully right now - but also because you chose to redo an MTG card

I really like the atmosphere of this piece and I think his expression is just great. He somewhat reminds me of Lord Voldemort.
The only thing that puts me off a little bit are his "princess sleeves". I can't help thinking about the Disney version of Snow White..

I wasn't familiar with the character of Necropotence & so did a Google & saw quite some major redesign, however you keep the swirly whirly hand power things which I like.
The slight fish-eye lens/hall of mirrors construction of the picture & the details that sweep your eye around the picture, keep leading you back to the central figure. The colours are lush, bright & particularly well applied on that necrotised flesh!
