I thought Ammut was all croc and hippo. Hmm . . .

Sorry Atlantean6, in the Book of the Dead, Ammut was represented as a female demon with a body that was half lion and half hippopotamus (sometime the lion part was maculated, like a leopard). Only the head was crocodile. No doubts about this.
