Description This was a sketch done about two months ago ([link] ). Used a few things I've been digesting from people who can actually art...and it was fun. Yep. =3

The scenery was inspired from Dark Souls' underground ruins level. You know, the one with the annoying ghosts. Of course, mine is just that much crappier.

And look, I drew Red again. WITHOUT GORE. Truly an achievement.

Well it feels weird saying that to me since i am... very critical of myself too and your arts just seems so muhc more "smooth" as you can see from my gallery is still that phase where lines and forms and anatomy is pain.

As you might guess this means details are not hard to think about, but rather that anatomy and pose phase is... mentally tortorious. AKA i torture myslef to make every dang line perfecto

Oh, I've been like that. Still am, kinda. Until noticing that alot of "pro" work isn;t exactly tidy. They just disguise it better.

Hmmmm care to elaborate? Id like to draw my own work without wanting to throw my tablet pencil/normal HB across the the room when i see my unfinished abomination.

It sounds odd, but they're just done larger. The artist I've been checking tutorials from tends to do that often: from afar, it looks amazingly smooth, but up close, at 100% zoom, it's a scribbly mess of colors. Though unlike me, he also takes over 10 hours on each thing. And knows anatomy. And knows light.

Late reply is late.

Huh i see... So do you think this phenominom "hides" persons talents and makes the frustrated more often than not... and that they would be much more supriced if they could see themselves 1 years moping over art they in the present wouldnt dream of?

Just my thoughts

Great work, especially with the lighting against the deep dark colours. It's a big step from the sketch.
