Yeah, I can relate a lot of my art to black metal. It just seemed like an instint to me when I covered her face with black (similar to corpsepaint), like I was viontly sticking sadness on her.

I think anyone can connect this to a lot of songs but, if you want to know, I made this while listening to some DPBM bands, Blut aus Nord, Watain... I assume you don't know those bands. :\

I did connect it to a lot of things emotionally, the Evanescence thing was just a side note. It's just strikingly similar. And yes, obviously I don't.
