is illusion handy for dark brotherhood missions? what lvl before you can cast invisibility?

Really late answer, I've been without a proper computer. As an Mage Assassin I really just wanted the 'Quiet Casting' Illusion perk. Invisibility Spell comes around at 75/Expert skill.
I became a Werewolf early on, I've never caught Vampirism.
