Yea, that was my last shot. By that time, I had already had taken a break, and they wouldn't let me back into the water till I stopped shivering, so I forced myself to stop, in order to get a few more shots.

I can't imagine a mermaid getting so cold in the water that she couldn't swim and drown.

Sadly, I don't live in California I just go down to visit socal once a year, and north cali like 3-5 times a year, hopefully moving there next year.

I actually lived in SD for over 4 years, then I moved to WA (husband was re stationed) and met Greg here, then a year later he moved to SD! I thought that was kinda funny. I'm hoping to move back to SD eventually.. I swear I just can not get over how much I miss that place. I was born in WV but I swear SoCal is my home!

Yea, I've seen your pictures, and had always admired his work, and would message him from time to time saying how great his work was, commenting on almost all the photos, than finally I was like 'Hey, Just wanted to let you know, that one day I hope to work with you yata yata yata' and that was about a month before my trip to cali, and he told me that he JUST moved there, and that he'd love to work with me, so kinda worked out perfectly for me tehe. I think he mentioned something about you, or one of the other mermaids. So many mermaids where you live!! Did you just get a new tail? If so, than I think it was you who he was talking about

That's awesome, I'm so glad it worked out that way for you Yup! I just got a new tail from Merbella Studios. He went out of his way to have one last shoot before he left so I could have good photos in it, which was beyond sweet of him! You know, I didn't expect there to be many mermaids up here, but everyone says Portland people being "crazy" is the norm ("Keep Portland Weird" is seriously their slogan) and WA "brings out the crazy in people" so I guess where people aren't afraid to be nutty mermaiding thrives! God knows you have to have something to brighten things up where it's cloudy, cold, rainy blech 9 months out of the year.
